Kalorik Cordless Electric Kettle Store : For about a year now I have been using a Melitta kettle I got at a department store for $20. It is wonderful and gets used sometimes several times a day. I bought this kettle for my office; I assumed for the same price I could get a kettle of equal value. Instead this kettle works well barely well enough to keep.Probably the most disappointing thing is the large exposed coil which looks very difficult to clean and requires that there be at least 1L in the pot for me to feel safe boiling water. It does shut off correctly after water boils but it is difficult to see the light that is supposed to indicate that it is on and the base design makes it somewhat awkward to use.
